Trump Renames Lake Ontario to “Lake America” in Latest controversial move.

Kampala- The president of United States of America Donald Trump signs a presidential order, declaring change of name of Lake Ontario to Lake America in a move that shocked everyone all over the world.

At the end of last week, the prime minister of Canada Mark Carney declared an economic war with the USA by calling off all negotiations with the USA. The economic rift between the USA and Canada has been ongoing since the swearing of Donold.J. Trump, but has never reached the stage of declaration of an economic war.

Understanding the character of Donold Trump, he is such a leader who’s allergic to intimidation. The walking out of Canada from the economic talks was such a thorn in Trump’s foot. It is worth noting that America’s economy is 10 times better than that of Canada and on several occasions Trump has always referred to Canada as the 51st state of the USA.

As we stand, the tarrifs slapped onto Canada by Trump are ongoing and took effect immediately. In return, Canada too declared retaliatory tarrifs on all goods and services from the USA. The declaration of change of name of Lake Ontario to Lake America was more of a way to express grief, as we all know Trump’s character.

This comes after president Trump recently officially changed name of Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America in another rift with Mexico. Trump’s executive order of renaming Lake Ontario will take effect in 30 days.

According to Trump, the name Lake ontario makes it seem like the lake belongs to Canada or State of Ontario in the USA which in one of the states forming up USA.

It is worth noting that the name Ontario is way older than both the USA and Canada, that it’s been in existence for more than 400 years before the formation of both countries. The word Ontario is embedded in the dialect of founder tribes that existed both in the USA and Canada, to mean a beautiful and peaceful Lake. History shows that indeed, it’s the state of Ontario that was named after the Lake and not the vice versa as may be in the mind of the Fountain of Honor Donold Trump.

Like the case of Gulf of Mexico, Lake Ontario will now have two names and diplomatically, anyone dealing with the USA shall have to refer it as Lake America while one dealing with Canada shall have to call it Lake Ontario.

The economic rift between Canada and the USA continues, Mark Carney stated that now onwards, they are going to strengthen their economic ties and trading with the European Union, despite that geographically, Canada is tied to the USA. He further stated that the USA they knew is no more.
