Pomp and Glamour As Minister Minsa Kabanda’s Daughter, Amira introduces UK-Based Lover in Kitebi.

Kampala – On Saturday the 29th of August, 2026, all roads in and around Kampala led to Kitebi. From as far as Nateete and Lubaga, as you connect through Kabuusu traffic lights to kitebi, the traffic jam was unbelievable, and one wouldn’t question what was happening.

The daughter to the Cabinet Minister for Kampala Metropolitan region, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, was introducing her UK based husband, Lugonvu Asuman, at her parents home In Kitebi Star.

Among the guests present included the Hon. Nabbanja, the Prime Minister of Uganda, kcca ED, Hajjat Sharifa Buzeki, RDCs, and Rccs, Cabinet minister for ict Hon. Kasule Lumumba, Hon.Judith Nabakooba, Minister of lands, Minister of tourism Susan Nakawuki, Hajji Latif Ssebaggala and wife, among others.

In his speech, Hajji kabanda welcome all guests, started by thanking his wife, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda Nabbengo for being a loyal wife for a long while and thanking dear guest for accompanying him as his daughter Amira introduces Husband Lugonvu Asuman.

Hajjat Minsa kabanda thanked her husband for his patience. She thanked the guest of Honour, the prime minister of uganda, among others, for sparing time to stand with her in happy moments.

Hon.Nabbanja, the Prime minister of Uganda in her speech, thanked the president for uplifting the women in this country , gracing her with another term as prime minister of this country and also giving women positions of leadership like minister minsa kabanda. She ended by praying for the couple and wishing them well, not forgetting to pray for the longivety of the NRM government.

Minister for ict kasule Lumumba in her speech, congratulated the couple upon reaching this point, thanked the people of Kampala for voting hajjat minsa kabanda and the president in the previous election and also thanked hajjat Buzeki for her hard work and cooperating with the minister.

The function was filled with lots of joy and special foods of various recipes, coupled with the topnotch decorations that made the event really colourful.

Furthermore, in an exciting turn, both the brother in law and Lugonvu, the husband to the Ministers daughter, are from the Diaspora. Lugonvu’s twisted British accent and the Brother in law’s American accent left revellers wondering without understanding a thing.
